The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angulo tries to clinch but Loveladdy is having none of it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Loveladdy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Angulo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Loveladdy looks for a takedown but Angulo sprawls well.

Loveladdy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Angulo to the mat! Angulo manages to get full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kevin Angulo will probably get the nod.

Loveladdy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Angulo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Loveladdy.
