Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladamir Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zod has chosen Kneel Before Zod as his entrance music. General Zod will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zod keeps the fight on the outside.
General Zod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drago as he jumps to the side.

Drago closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Zod is trying to break free.
Drago with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Drago feints and as Zod raises his hands in defense, Drago changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Drago has his foot on Zod's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zod works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Drago working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zod doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zod manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
