The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes lands an overhand right.
Holmes lands with a thumping leg kick.
George Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holmes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Holmes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Steele uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holmes.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Steele.
Holmes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Holmes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Steele.
Holmes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Steele checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Holmes throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Holmes throws a sloppy head kick and Steele moves out of range easily.

Steele throws the left hand but Holmes avoids the punch easily.

Crunch! Holmes slams his shin into Steele's torso.
Holmes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Holmes throws a shot from downtown. Steele moves away and avoids it.
Steele swings for the body but Holmes moves out of range.
Steele throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Holmes moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holmes swings wildly with an uppercut but Steele uses good head movement to avoid it.

Steele lands a really nice looking cross but Holmes seems unphased.

Steele swings wildly with an uppercut but Holmes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Holmes tries to work over Steele's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Steele creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Holmes takes an elbow to the forehead.
Steele doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Steele throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Holmes blocks it with crossed arms.

Holmes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steele backwards.
Steele looking to throw knees to the head but Holmes is blocking nicely.
Holmes lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Steele looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Holmes looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Holmes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Holmes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Holmes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Holmes avoids a kick to the body.
Steele walks into a straight right hand from Holmes.
Holmes scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Steele throws a jab but it's blocked by Holmes.
Steele swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Holmes lands a nice looking body shot.
Holmes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steele.
Holmes lands with a right hand.
Holmes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Holmes lands a big head kick that sends Steele tumbling to the mat! Holmes takes a step backwards and waves Steele back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Steele is rocked!
Holmes throws a pinpoint strike between Steele's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Steele crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Holmes scores a great knockout victory!

Rodney Holmes tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
