PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samus Linikis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Oriley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oriley has chosen warriors call as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linikis wants to clinch but Oriley slips to the side

and Oriley counters with a takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oriley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oriley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Oriley has an Americana. Linikis didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Oriley is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Oriley hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
