Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scrooge McDuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zamorano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDuck comes to the cage accompanied by Scrooge McDuck. Zamorano has chosen The Cat Empire - Lost Song as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamorano dodges the punch combination from McDuck.

McDuck gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Zamorano looks to score with a jab to the body but McDuck is just out of range.
McDuck closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zamorano circles away.

and Zamorano makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nice takedown defense from Zamorano. No joy for McDuck on that attempt.
Zamorano throws a leg kick which misses McDuck's front leg but catches the back leg as McDuck tries to avoid it.
Zamorano has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
McDuck tries for a takedown but Zamorano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

McDuck seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Zamorano goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McDuck misses with a takedown attempt - Zamorano sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zamorano lunges at McDuck with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McDuck's hand.

McDuck looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Scrooge McDuck is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McDuck shoots for a takedown but Zamorano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Zamorano jabs McDuck right on the nose. McDuck blinks but takes it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McDuck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Zamorano holds on and takes a little breather.

McDuck throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zamorano's waist but Zamorano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDuck off to one side.

McDuck takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Zamorano feints and then cracks McDuck's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McDuck down.

McDuck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zamorano sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Zamorano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McDuck doesn't seem bothered though.

Mike Zamorano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by McDuck or perhaps it was just good defense by Zamorano which made him look bad.
Zamorano tries to land a front kick but McDuck steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

McDuck is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Zamorano is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McDuck defends well.

Zamorano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

McDuck shoots for a double leg takedown but Zamorano sprawls well. He's pushed McDuck's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Zamorano connects with a good right hand that stumbles McDuck. McDuck circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Zamorano throws a series of punches but McDuck avoids them all with ease.
Mike Zamorano is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

McDuck shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zamorano counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Zamorano lands a jab to the head.
Zamorano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Zamorano fakes the leg kick and cracks McDuck in the body.
Scrooge McDuck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McDuck throws a right and a left that both miss.
McDuck fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Zamorano looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
McDuck shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zamorano pinned against the cage. Zamorano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Zamorano in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
