The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris misses with a takedown attempt - Longo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Norris avoids the head kick by Longo.
Longo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Norris scores with a hook to the body. Longo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Norris shoots and misses
and Longo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Norris!
Norris wants to control but Longo is having none of it.

Norris tries to lock up and control but Longo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Norris bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Norris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Norris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Longo is staying active underneath Norris, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Longo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Norris as he avoids it easily.

Longo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Norris swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Norris shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Norris showed some decent athleticism there.

Norris scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Longo is in a horrible position here. Norris smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Norris looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Longo covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
