The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atomic misses with a straight right.
Atomic on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kepe Eses fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Atomic manages to avoid it.
Atomic wants to clinch
and Atomic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kepe Eses throws a wild body kick that Atomic sees coming a mile off.
Kepe Eses avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kepe Eses lands a big head kick that sends Atomic tumbling to the mat! Kepe Eses takes a step backwards and waves Atomic back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Atomic is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Atomic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kepe Eses tries to avoid it but Atomic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kepe Eses to the ground. Kepe Eses escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Atomic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Atomic tries to clinch up but Kepe Eses circles away and keeps his distance.
BOOM! Kepe Eses lands a beautiful left hook that drops Atomic. Atomic tries to recover but Kepe Eses is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Atomic lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Syezd Kepe Eses!
