VelazQuez Borner had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jose Brasileiro is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Brasileiro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Borner is trying to defend but Brasileiro finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Brasileiro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Borner is just riding it out for now. Brasileiro eventually gives up the hold.
