Jefferson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Gladys Knight - Midnight train to Georgia. Stefan Steele will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jefferson.
Steele throws a right hand that Jefferson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jefferson also avoids with ease.
Steele throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jefferson.
Steele misses with a series of wild punches.
Jefferson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Steele.
A left lands for Steele.
Steele takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Steele drops Jefferson with a right and a left! Steele comes rushing in but Jefferson regains his composure and manages to keep Steele in guard.

Jefferson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steele trying to control but Jefferson is working from the bottom.
Oh Jefferson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steele tries to free his leg and advance position but Jefferson is retaining full guard.

Steele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jefferson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Stefan Steele hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Steele buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jefferson is holding his hands too far apart here. Steele throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Jefferson is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
