Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Machakos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oink Quee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Machakos as he jumps to the side.

Quee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Machakos wants to control the pace but Quee is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Machakos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Paulo Machakos has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
No luck for Quee with that takedown attempt.

Machakos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Paulo Machakos will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Machakos is wriggling around trying to escape.

Machakos manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Quee scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Oink Quee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Machakos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Quee throws a low kick but Machakos avoids it.
Machakos misses with a double jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Quee turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Quee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Machakos managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Quee.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Quee with the ground and pound but Machakos regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machakos is looking to control Quee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Machakos avoid being mounted?

Machakos has one foot on Quee's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Machakos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quee manages to avoid it.

Machakos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Machakos is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Quee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Machakos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Machakos stands up from half guard.

Machakos drives through and clinches with Quee against the cage.

Come on Quee - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Machakos has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Quee uses from the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paulo Machakos.
