The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crappler shoots in looking for a takedown but Huxley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crappler's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Crappler stalks Huxley and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Huxley's face. Huxley staggers backwards, shaken.

Crappler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Huxley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Crappler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Huxley is wriggling around but Crappler manages to pass to half guard.

Crappler is looking to advance position but Huxley won't allow it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crappler is taking a breather. Huxley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Crappler connects with a nice short shot to Huxley's temple.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Huxley looks gassed!

Crappler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Huxley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Huxley pushes Crappler off looking to stand but Crappler dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Crappler fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Huxley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
