Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minor throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Minor walks into a straight right hand from HP.
Minor stuffs the takedown.
A left and a right from Minor both land. Nice combination.
Minor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Minor looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Minor stays in close to HP's body and controls the position.
HP is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Minor is aware though and is defending well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cory Minor was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Minor lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Minor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. HP tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Minor is in HP's guard.

HP might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Minor has gone for a leg lock! HP slips out almost immediately though and dives into Minor's guard.

Minor is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Minor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. HP manages to get himself to full guard.
Minor stands up and waves to HP to follow him.
HP throws a right and a left that both miss.
Minor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Minor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Minor lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

HP is trying to stand back up but Minor is controlling him
HP wants to control but Minor is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

HP takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Lance HP has been cut.
Minor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
HP has hold of Minor's hands but Minor slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
HP pushes Minor off looking to stand but Minor dives back in and keeps control.
HP is in trouble now - Minor has advanced to mount!
Minor controlling the pace for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Minor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Oh HP is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
