Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Franco Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Vbahi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vbahi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pregador Luo - Bate Pesadão. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vbahi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gomez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vbahi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gomez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vbahi swivels and escapes.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Vbahi sprawls well. Vbahi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gomez gets slowly back to his feet.

Gomez wants to hold on but Vbahi pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gomez is looking to improve his position but Vbahi isn't that keen on the idea.

Gomez is bucking up trying to escape but Vbahi cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Vbahi throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Gomez!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Vbahi's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
You can see the frustration on Gomez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Vbahi has the hooks in. Gomez is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Gomez is trying to remain composed but Vbahi is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vbahi lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Vbahi controls the action.

Gomez wants to escape the position.
Vbahi trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Gomez breaks Vbahi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Gomez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vbahi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vbahi wants to sweep here but Gomez controlling him for the moment.

Gomez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Vbahi keeping moving, preventing Gomez from controlling successfully.

Vbahi is looking for a triangle but Gomez pushes his legs off easily.
Gomez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vbahi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vbahi can do anything to dispel that myth.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vbahi is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gomez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Vbahi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gomez sneaks back into half guard.
Gomez regains full guard. Nicely done.

Vbahi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gomez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Vbahi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gomez pulls down on the head and he's put Vbahi to sleep! This one is all over!
