The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knoszynski fails to land the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Lester as Knoszynski shoots in.
Lester slips a jab from Knoszynski.
Knoszynski misses with a takedown

and Lester counters by clinching up.
Johnny Lester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kobe Knoszynski.
Knoszynski goes for a takedown attempt but Lester pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Knoszynski wants to slow Lester down by chopping away at his legs.
Knoszynski tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lester manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Knoszynski throws a lazy head kick
and Lester counters with a slapping leg kick.
Knoszynski throws a body kick that misses

and Lester counters with a crisp one two that drops Knoszynski! Lester thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Knoszynski to his feet! Knoszynski is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crunch! Lester slams his shin into Knoszynski's torso.
Knoszynski looks gassed!
Lester shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knoszynski but Knoszynski pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lester fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Knoszynski, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lester manages to break the clinch.

Lester lands a big right hand that sends Knoszynski crashing to the mat! Lester stays standing though and waves Knoszynski back to his feet!

Knoszynski is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lester gets a big slam - oh, Knoszynski is out! Knoszynski is out! That's a nasty KO!
