Puncher comes to the cage accompanied by Let's go dancing. Hard Puncher could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zoe Washburn's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washburn wants to clinch.

Washburn shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Washburn misses with a takedown attempt - Puncher sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hard Puncher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A looping hook to the body misses from Puncher. Washburn does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Washburn counters with a shoot takedown. Puncher fights it but they end up in guard.

Washburn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Washburn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Puncher tries to avoid it but Washburn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Puncher to the ground. Puncher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hard Puncher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zoe Washburn.

Washburn has closed the distance and engaged Puncher in a clinch.
Puncher swings wildly with an uppercut but Washburn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Puncher lands with a light punch inside.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Puncher makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Puncher pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Washburn drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That was a close round but I would say that Hard Puncher will probably get the nod.
