Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Claus Mueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Spade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spade has chosen Ace Of Spades as his entrance music. Claus Mueller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Claus Mueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Spade!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mueller pushes Spade up against the cage in a clinch.
Mueller gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Spade.
Spade drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mueller gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Spade lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Spade has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mueller is trying to keep an underhook but Spade manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Mueller trying to hold on to Spade's head to control him but Spade postures up.
Mueller is trying to stand.
Mueller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mueller wants to improve his position but Spade is controlling well.

Mueller kicks off Spade and gets to his feet.
Mueller on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Spade shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Spade's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Mueller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spade connects with a couple of short punches.
Spade thows a big elbow that misses.
Mueller wants to sweep here but Spade controlling him for the moment.
Spade stays in close to Mueller's body and controls the position.
Spade trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Spade lands a couple of digs.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mueller tries to work over Spade's front leg with a kick but Spade checks it.
Mueller fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mueller is breathing heavily.

Mueller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
It looks like Mueller is going to stand back up.
Spade is pressing down on Mueller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mueller is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Spade has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mueller is looking to defend but Spade has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mueller! Spade pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mueller taps out and this one is all over!
