The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A shot to the body from Blaylock misses
and Pendragon counters with a two punch combo.

Blaylock tries to sprawl but Pendragon drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pendragon is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Blaylock reverses the position - he's now on top in Pendragon's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pendragon is looking for a triangle but Blaylock pushes his legs off easily.
Pendragon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Blaylock!
Pendragon prevents Blaylock from getting the reversal.
Blaylock avoids a strike by Pendragon and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Pendragon's guard! Fantastic escape!

Blaylock postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blaylock takes a little break here. Pendragon wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Pendragon manages to get back to half guard.
Pendragon tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Blaylock has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Pendragon is bucking up trying to escape but Blaylock cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

It looks like Mike Pendragon has been cut.

Pendragon is looking to improve his position but Blaylock isn't that keen on the idea.

Pendragon is rocked!
Blaylock loads up with a big shot that hurts Pendragon! He's pulled Blaylock in close but Blaylock has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Pendragon survive? More strikes from Blaylock and Pendragon is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
