Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luis Chalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ovca Namjera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luis Chalas has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ovca Namjera!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namjera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Namjera throws a body kick that misses
and Chalas counters with a three punch combo that has Namjera backing up. Namjera nods at Chalas to acknowledge the strikes.

Namjera clinches with his opponent.

Chalas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Namjera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Namjera throws an off balance right hand
and Chalas counters with a stiff right hand.

Namjera rushes Chalas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chalas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Namjera tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Chalas counters with a nice kick to the body.
Namjera moves in looking to clinch but Chalas pushes him off.
Namjera gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Chalas counters with a good, hard body kick but Namjera shrugs it off.
Namjera tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chalas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Namjera looks to land a combination but Chalas avoids it well.
Chalas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Namjera throws a nice looking combination but Chalas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Namjera wants to slow Chalas down by chopping away at his legs.

Namjera throws a jab but it's blocked by Chalas.

Namjera throws a right hand that Chalas ducks under and follows up with a left that Chalas also avoids with ease.

Namjera will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Namjera throws a nice looking combination but Chalas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chalas leaves Namjera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Chalas counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A combination from Namjera does no damage.
Chalas tries to clinch up but Namjera circles away and keeps his distance.
Chalas throws a head kick that half lands.
Chalas misses with a few strikes there.

Chalas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Namjera fails in his attempt to clinch.
Luis Chalas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Namjera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chalas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ovca Namjera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chalas closes the distance and pushes Namjera back into the cage.

Chalas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chalas gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Namjera throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Namjera misses with a jab, cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ovca Namjera will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Namjera moves into range and clinches up with Chalas.

Namjera pulls Chalas into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Namjera makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Namjera.
Chalas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Namjera on the ground.
Namjera wants to stand and escape but Chalas is having none of it.

Chalas is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Namjera has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chalas is looking to defend but Namjera has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chalas! Namjera pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chalas taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ovca Namjera!
Ovca Namjera decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
