Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Banks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oliver Hare!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hare looks to land a combination but Banks avoids it well.
Hare misses with the combination.
Scott Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Banks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hare, pushing him back against the cage.
Hare is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Banks to keep the fight standing.

Banks pulls guard effortlessly.
Banks pulls Hare in to control the position.
Hare passes into half guard.
Banks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Banks tries to get out of the position.
Hare trying to pass the guard but Banks defending well.
Hare controlling the action here.
Banks is looking for a sweep. Hare is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hare thows a huge punch but Banks dodges it nicely.
Ground and pound from Hare.
Hare looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Banks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Banks trying to control but Hare postures up.
Hare slows the pace down in half guard.
Hare wants to pass the guard but Banks is defending well.
Hare content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Hare is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Banks doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hare.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hare is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hare thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Banks is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hare scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Banks wants to sweep but Hare has passed to side control!
Hare works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hare is looking to take a break and control but Banks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hare is working Banks over with some ground and pound from side control.
Hare wants to lay and pray for a moment but Banks keeps working.
Banks is trying to get back to half guard.
Hare trying to control the action but Banks is working from the bottom.
Hare might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Banks kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hare creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Banks is looking to reverse the position.

Hare thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hare lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hare working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hare is looking to take a break and control but Banks is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hare passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Banks!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oliver Hare dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Banks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Banks is looking to land body kicks.
Hare digs a good body shot into Banks's ribs.
Banks throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
letting Hare counter with a right hand.
Banks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hare.
Hare is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Banks.
Banks misses with a low kick.
Hare throws an off balance right hand
and Banks makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Banks bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Banks scores with a sloppy right hand. Hare should have avoided that one.
Banks throws a combination. Hare tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Banks takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hare throws a hook but Banks blocks it.
Hare throws a jab when Banks was well out of range.
Hare fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Banks swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Banks shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hare's guard.
Oliver Hare has got the better of the ground game so far.

Hare working for a triangle but Banks defends it easily.

Banks is sitting in close to Hare's body. Hare has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Banks is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Banks is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hare.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Oliver Hare!
