Alexis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Iron Maiden - The Fallen Angel. Seth Alexis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Micah Jackson's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micah Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Alexis lands with a nice body punch.
Jackson with a poor takedown
and Alexis counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Alexis cracks Jackson with a big right hand and Jackson goes down!


Jackson is rocked!


It looks like Micah Jackson has been cut.
Alexis looking to pass the guard.
Jackson trying to control the position.
Alexis wants to get up but he can't break Jackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jackson has his foot on Alexis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alexis works his way back into a safe position though.
Jackson is trying to keep Alexis in close.

Jackson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Alexis kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Alexis tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Alexis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Alexis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Jackson tries to circle away but Alexis has him pinned against the cage.
Jackson tries to score a body lock takedown but Alexis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Seth Alexis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micah Jackson.

Jackson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Alexis uses from the top position.

Jackson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Alexis pulls his leg out and moves away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alexis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
