The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaneko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jefferson lands a leg kick that knocks Kaneko off balance momentarily.

Kaneko shoots in for a double leg but Jefferson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cruz Jefferson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
