Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Kraljevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timur Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timur Rod will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marko Kraljevic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timur Rod!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraljevic shoots for a double leg takedown but Rod sprawls well. He's pushed Kraljevic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kraljevic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rod was covering up waiting for the punch and Kraljevic finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kraljevic passes Rod's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kraljevic winds up and cracks Rod with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Well, if Kraljevic is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kraljevic tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rod knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kraljevic stalling.

Kraljevic is working for a submission of some sort.

Rod moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kraljevic gets to his feet. Rod looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kraljevic moves into the clinch.
Kraljevic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Kraljevic is working for takedown but Rod is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kraljevic gets a trip takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kraljevic wants to free his trapped foot but Rod is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kraljevic trying to control the action but Rod is working from the bottom.
Kraljevic thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rod's head.
Rod really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kraljevic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kraljevic is looking for a kimura here.
Rod is not content to let Kraljevic control the position.
Kraljevic looks to land a strike but Rod avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Kraljevic throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kraljevic stands and throws Rod's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rod is looking for a sweep.

Kraljevic is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rod is trying to escape and Kraljevic transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rod is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kraljevic! Very nice indeed!
