Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tron McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFly's entrance music is I Disappear by Metalica. A fine choice. Kane has chosen Gang of Four - I love a Man in Uniform as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFly tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McFly tries to keep at a distance but Kane has taken the fight into the clinch.
McFly content to slow the pace in the clinch.
McFly wants to stall.
McFly tries to land a knee to the head but Kane blocks with his arms.

Kane decides to pull guard.
McFly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kane throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
McFly has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Kane is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Kane lands with a hook. McFly tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Kane counters with a lovely shot to the body.
McFly is breathing heavily.

Kane shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kane showed some decent athleticism there.
McFly is refusing to be controlled, as Kane sits in half guard.

Kane stops McFly from getting back to his feet.

Kane postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for McFly to stand up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Horrible takedown by Kane or perhaps it was just good defense by McFly which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kane looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

You get the feeling that McFly really doesn't like being in this position too much.
McFly wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Kane wants to control but McFly is keeping busy.
Kane throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting McFly!
Will Kane go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Despite being in the dominant position, Tommy Kane just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

McFly closes the distance looking to clinch

and Kane counters with a shoot takedown. McFly fights it but they end up in guard.
McFly wants to stand and escape but Kane is having none of it.

Kane gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kane tries to close the distance and clinch but McFly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and McFly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tommy Kane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! McFly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McFly throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kane blocks it with crossed arms.
Kane is pressed up against the cage. McFly has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kane down to the mat. Kane avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kane tries to bum rush McFly with a series of wild strikes but McFly uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Well Kane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
