PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guillermo Espada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paal Gloppe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Espada's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Greedy Fly. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gloppe throws a left and a right that both miss
and Espada counters with a straight right hand.
Espada swinging wildly here.
Gloppe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gloppe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Espada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gloppe. Espada does a little dance to reset his feet.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Espada has cracked Gloppe with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Espada lands another huge swinging hook and Gloppe tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Gloppe, before Espada can land any more shots!
