Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alezandr Mamaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Soldati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alezandr Mamaev had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamaev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Soldati misses with a takedown attempt - Mamaev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Soldati closes the distance and clinches up with Mamaev, looking for a takedown. Soldati pushes Mamaev against the cage but Mamaev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
