The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beats fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leichteiner manages to avoid it.
Leichteiner throws a looping overhand right but Beats ducks down to avoid it.
Beats takes a swing at Leichteiner's ribcage but misses.
Beats tries to close the distance and clinch but Leichteiner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Beats gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Ndamukong Beats has been cut.

Beats shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Beats is looking to advance position but Leichteiner won't allow it.
