Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turu Ropuia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Floyd Howard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Turu Ropuia!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Howard. Ropuia does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ropuia throws a wild body kick that Howard sees coming a mile off.
Ropuia throws a nice looking combination but Howard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Howard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ropuia to the ground. Howard is now in Ropuia's guard.
Howard trying to control but Ropuia is working from the bottom.
Howard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ropuia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Howard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Howard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Howard has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ropuia to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Howard is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ropuia pulls down on the head and he's put Howard to sleep! This one is all over!
