Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Spox Beard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wendell Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Spock's Beard - The Great Nothing. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Beard.
A cross from Oliveira lands.
Beard tries to clinch up.
Oliveira lands a really nice looking cross but Beard seems unphased.
Oliveira lands a jab to the nose.
Oliveira misses with an uppercut. Beard saw that one coming.
Beard goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beard slips a jab from Oliveira.
Beard tries to clinch but Oliveira is having none of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beard lands with a kick to the ribs.
Oliveira keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Beard.
Oliveira throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Beard slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Beard takes one to the side of the head.
Oliveira works the jab nicely.
Beard throws a jab when Oliveira was well out of range.
Beard fails in his attempt to clinch.
Good leg kick by Beard there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Beard takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oliveira with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Beard to score with a decent uppercut.
Beard lands a head kick. Oliveira smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Beard throws a head kick that misses.
Oliveira scores with a nice strike.
Beard walks into a straight right hand from Oliveira.
Beard is rocked!
Beard lands a big head kick that sends Oliveira tumbling to the mat! Beard takes a step backwards and waves Oliveira back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oliveira is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Beard throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Oliveira crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Spox Beard!

Spox Beard bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
