Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Dickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Trevor Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Dickson!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Trevor Jackson has been cut.

Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Dickson keeps moving.

Jackson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dickson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

That was a close round but I would say that Trevor Jackson will probably get the nod.

Jackson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jackson manages to end up in side control.

Jackson tries to land a front kick but Dickson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jackson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dickson can pounce on him.

Dickson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dickson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.

Dickson is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jackson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

I really don't envy Jackson right now.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Jackson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Jackson manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dickson's guard. Nice work there by Jackson.

Jackson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dickson dives on top into guard.

Brian Dickson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dickson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
