Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksi Vihtala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Tedvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aleksi Vihtala!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Tedvik!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vihtala swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vihtala throws a body punch but Tedvik moves out of range.

and Tedvik counters with a single leg into guard. Vihtala didn't expect that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Vihtala is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tedvik shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vihtala is trying to defend but Tedvik finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Gustav Tedvik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vihtala keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tedvik takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Vihtala takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Vihtala gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Vihtala is looking to sinch up a triangle. Tedvik throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Vihtala's body to avoid the submission. Vihtala has instead reached around Tedvik's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Vihtala arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
