Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shane Prior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Petruzzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petruzzi has chosen Bob Dylan - Hurricane as his entrance music. Diego Petruzzi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petruzzi doesn't manage to clinch there - Prior circles away.
Petruzzi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Prior tries to keep at a distance but Petruzzi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Petruzzi lands a good knee to the midsection. Prior won't want to take too many of those.
Petruzzi scores with a knee to the head.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Petruzzi obliges.
Petruzzi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Petruzzi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Petruzzi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Prior manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Petruzzi tries to sprawl but Prior drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Prior is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Petruzzi is just riding it out for now. Prior eventually gives up the hold.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Prior takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Prior is working for a submission of some sort.
Petruzzi looks like he's trying to stand up.
Prior landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Petruzzi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Prior scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prior looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Petruzzi covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
