The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Overeem pushes Inferno up against the cage in a clinch.
Overeem lands a good knee to the midsection. Inferno won't want to take too many of those.
Overeem stalling in the clinch but Inferno improves position.
Overeem connects with a nasty looking knee right to Inferno's face.

It looks like Dante Inferno has been cut.
Inferno looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Overeem drops Inferno with a big knee straight up the middle! Inferno is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Overeem gets a clinch.
Overeem trying to control the position but instead, Inferno has worked for underhooks and has pushed Overeem into the cage.
Overeem is pushing Inferno up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Gab Overeem.
Overeem wobbles Inferno with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Overeem dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Inferno to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
