The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Middleton throws a lazy right hand but Seagal sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Seagal swats away the attempt to clinch by Middleton.
Middleton throws a sloppy head kick and Seagal moves out of range easily.

and Seagal counters with a slapping leg kick.
Middleton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Middleton misses with an uppercut.

The crowd cheers as Seagal lands an impressive looking overhand right. Middleton doesn't seem phased though.
Seagal lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Middleton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seagal paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Good work by Middleton as he checks the leg kick.
Seagal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Swags Middleton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seagal with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Middleton to score with a decent uppercut.

Seagal tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Middleton was well out of range. Poor timing from Seagal.
A head kick misses from Seagal.
Chuck Seagal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Middleton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seagal pinned against the cage. Seagal gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Middleton throws a nice looking combination but Seagal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Middleton lands a left and a right that send Seagal crashing to the mat, dazed. Middleton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Seagal is rocked!

Oh Seagal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Seagal takes an elbow to the temple.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Middleton just misses with a elbow thrown towards Seagal's brow.
Middleton has a couple of punches blocked by Seagal.
Middleton wants a takedown but no success here.
Seagal's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Middleton dips a shoulder and cracks Seagal with a mighty uppercut! Seagal falls back against the cage and Middleton unloads with a barrage of strikes! Seagal is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Middleton screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

After the fight, Swags Middleton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
