Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Jakof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Putnam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Putnam's choice of entrance music: tap out. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Jakof!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Putnam!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putnam cracks the inside of Jakof's front leg.
Putnam will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Putnam connects with a solid leg kick.
Jakof misses with a takedown attempt - Putnam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Putnam displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Jakof doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jakof takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jakof shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Putnam sprawls well. Putnam wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jakof gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Jakof. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Jakof or perhaps it was just good defense by Putnam which made him look bad.
Putnam explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Jakof is breathing heavily.
Putnam lands a head kick!
Jakof gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Putnam makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jakof really felt that one!
Putnam closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jakof takes an elbow to the temple.
Putnam breaks from the clinch.
Jakof looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Putnam is fending him off so far but Jakof persists. Nope, Putnam circles away and we're back to standing.
Whack! Putnam lands a heavy head kick that drops Jakof. The ref tackles Putnam to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Jakof was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Ronnie Putnam!
A relieved looking Ronnie Putnam thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
