Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keygo Atobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Keygo Atobe!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Austin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Austin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Austin performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Austin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Atobe defending well though.
Austin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Atobe is staying active underneath Austin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Steve Austin wasn't doing enough on the ground.

and Austin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Atobe won't be happy with that.

Atobe drops back looking for a leg! Austin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Austin manages to kick Atobe off! Atobe jumps back into Austin's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Atobe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Austin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Austin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Atobe is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Atobe goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Austin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Atobe but great work by Austin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Atobe is trying to control Austin's posture but Austin avoids it.

Austin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Atobe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Austin but great work by Atobe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Austin will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Austin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Austin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Atobe is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Atobe and Austin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Atobe can't do much from the bottom here.

Atobe sneaks back into half guard.

Austin stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Atobe shoots in and gets a takedown into Austin's guard.
Austin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Austin wants to stand up but Atobe is controlling him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Atobeis looking to pass into half guard but Austin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Austin is in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Steve Austin.

Atobe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Austin, who protects the arm well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steve Austin.
Well Austin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
