Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gigant Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes into the arena with Kronik blaring out of the sound system. Gigant Silva will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Adams is stalling here. Silva is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Adams seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Silva has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Adams is on top in guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Adams closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Adams lands in his opponent's guard.

Silva loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Adams scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Silva land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Silva stands and salutes the crowd.
