The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Yoshikuni, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yoshikuni fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yoshikuni fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stunner manages to avoid it.
Yoshikuni throws a combination. Stunner tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Stunner tries to clinch up.
Jeffery Stunner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshikuni misses with a double jab.
Stunner throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Stunner fails with a takedown attempt.

Stunner rushes Yoshikuni and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Stunner working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Stunner slows down the pace here.

Yoshikuni managing to block the knees to the body from Stunner.

Stunner breaks the clinch.
Yoshikuni gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Stunner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Yoshikuni throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Stunner lands a couple of elbows.
Yoshikuni is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Stunner missing with punches from the bottom.

Yoshikuni looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yoshikuni passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Stunner!
Stunner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yoshikuni. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yoshikuni working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Yoshikuni goes for an armbar but Stunner turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Stunner.

Stunner is looking to work some ground and pound but Yoshikuni has wrist control.

Yoshikuni is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Stunner frees his head nicely. Oh but Yoshikuni has switched to an armbar! Stunner is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
