Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan has chosen Haka as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt blocks a low kick nicely.
Duncan takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Duncan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Duncan swinging wildly here.
Duncan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holt.
Holt looks to throw the jab but Duncan is out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Duncan. Those never looked like landing.
Duncan wants to land a leg kick but Holt is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Duncan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Duncan misses with a looping right.
A left lands for Holt.
Duncan misses with a head kick.
Duncan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Holt circles away from the clinch attempt.

Holt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duncan manages to avoid it.
Holt throws a series of punches but Duncan avoids them all with ease.
Holt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duncan circles away quickly and effectively.
Duncan avoids the head kick by Holt.
Duncan throws a combination. Holt tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Manny Holt has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duncan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holt manages to avoid it.
Holt keeps the fight on the outside.
Duncan tries to clinch up but Holt circles away and keeps his distance.
Holt misses with a double jab
and Duncan counters with a leg kick.

Holt tries to keep at a distance but Duncan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Duncan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Holt clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Holt trying to get back to his feet but Duncan is in full control for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holt rolls, trying to escape but Duncan keeps control of the position.
Duncan misses with a punch to the head.

Duncan is looking for the choke from the back position but Holt is controlling his hands well.
Holt breaks Duncan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Holt scoring with some ground and pound.
Holt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Holt won't allow Duncan to sweep him here.

Duncan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Holt trying to control the position from guard on top but Duncan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Duncan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Holt!
Holt slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Holt slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Holt pulls Duncan in close to prevent any damage.

Holt looking to control.
Holt doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Holt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duncan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duncan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Duncan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tom Duncan will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Holt tries to clinch but Duncan is having none of it.
Duncan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Holt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duncan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duncan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Duncan lands with a nice combination. Holt backs away looking to recover.
Duncan feints and then cracks Holt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holt down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Duncan lands a left and a right that send Holt crashing to the mat, dazed. Duncan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Manny Holt's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duncan.
Duncan feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Holt crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
