The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crichton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Memorex defends it easily.

Crichton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Memorex doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Memorex manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Crichton clinches up with Memorex and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Memorex tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Crichton avoids it.

Crichton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Crichton or perhaps it was just good defense by Memorex which made him look bad.

Memorex tries to buck Crichton off but Crichton takes his back!

Crichton is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Memorex has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Crichton has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Memorex taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Crichton doesn't care though - he's delighted!
