Prizefighter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Under and Over it by ffdp. Banners is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rage Against The Machine - Bombtrack. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Banners!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banners throws a hook but Prizefighter avoids it easily.
Prizefighter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Banners swivels and escapes.

Prizefighter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Prizefighter missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Prizefighter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Prizefighter with a flurry of punches that miss.
Prizefighter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Banners is looking to stand up but Prizefighter isn't so interested in that idea.

Prizefighter wants to control from the top but Banners keeps moving.
Prizefighter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Banners really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prizefighter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prizefighter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Prizefighter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Prizefighter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Prizefighter with a flurry of punches that miss.

Prizefighter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Banners works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ken Banners.
Prizefighter moves in looking to clinch but Banners pushes him off.
Banners looks to throw the jab but Prizefighter is out of range.
Prizefighter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Banners, right into the meat.
Prizefighter throws a solid leg kick but Banners takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Prizefighter.
Prizefighter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Prizefighter fails to land the takedown.
Banners checks a leg kick.
Prizefighter with a poor takedown
and Banners counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for HeavyWeight Prizefighter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Prizefighter shoots in and drives through. Banners sprawls well.
Banners connects with an inside leg kick.
Prizefighter is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Banners throws a shot to the body.

Banners with a hook.
Banners moves out of range of the body kick.
Prizefighter misses with a takedown attempt
and Banners counters with a low kick, right behind Prizefighter 's knee.
Prizefighter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Banners.
Prizefighter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Banners throws a series of punches but Prizefighter avoids them all with ease.
Banners takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Banners displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Prizefighter.
Banners fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A shot to the liver by Banners. Beautiful body shot.
Banners connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Banners dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Banners bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Prizefighter's head backwards.


It looks like HeavyWeight Prizefighter has been cut.
Prizefighter misses with a kick to the body
and Prizefighter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Banners lands a nice looking kick to the body. Prizefighter takes a step back to recover.
Banners throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Prizefighter fails to land the takedown.
Banners fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Prizefighter.
Banners jabs at Prizefighter's body.
Banners lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Banners drops Prizefighter with a beautiful combination! Prizefighter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Banners is looking for the KO!


Prizefighter is rocked!
Prizefighter is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Banners doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Prizefighter crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Prizefighter's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ken Banners!
