PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipezoom Insano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Insano has chosen as his entrance music. Felipezoom Insano told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Cat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felipezoom Insano!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Insano slaps away a takedown attempt from Cat, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Insano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Insano connects with a high kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some bone on bone action there as Cat checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Insano's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cat under the eye.
Cat slips a jab and a cross from Insano.
Insano scores with a nice strike.
Cat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Insano but Insano pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Cat gets tackled into the cage by Insano. Insano maintains the clinch.
Insano lands a nice uppercut.
Insano tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Insano doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cat is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Insano is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Cat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Insano can't find room to land a body shot as Cat controls the action.
Cat jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Insano walks away with a smile on his face. Cat gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Cat takes a jab right on the kisser.
Insano looks to throw the jab but Cat is out of range.
Insano defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cat.
and Insano counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Cat! He's just covering up as Insano starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
