PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Masahura Yakisoba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Orton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Voices by Rev Theory. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakisoba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Orton's waist but Orton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yakisoba off to one side.

Yakisoba has his foot on Orton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Orton works his way back into a safe position though.

Yakisoba had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Orton is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Yakisoba Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Orton's back instead.

Orton is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Yakisoba gets his way!
