Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gram Prodigy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimothy Mazor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mazor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter Sandman By Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazor gets a clinch.

Prodigy shoots in for a double leg but Mazor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Prodigy tries to close the distance and clinch but Mazor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mazor is pushing Prodigy up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Mazor moves into range and clinches up with Prodigy.
Mazor's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Prodigy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Prodigy lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mazor wants to stand and escape but Prodigy is having none of it.
Mazor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prodigy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Prodigy is looking to stand up but Mazor won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prodigy wants to control from the top but Mazor keeps moving.
Mazor is wriggling around but Prodigy manages to pass to half guard.
Prodigy is trying to control the action in half guard but Mazor is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
