Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zed Zeddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zeddy swivels and escapes.
Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
so Zeddy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Zeddy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Zeddy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Zeddy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Zeddy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well, if Silva is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Silva dives in and grabs Zeddy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zeddy pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.

Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zeddy is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Zeddy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.

Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zeddy tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zeddy to the ground. Zeddy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
