The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jonsson throws an off balance right hand
and Jenkins counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jenkins lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Jon Jonsson has been cut.
Jenkins throws the left hand but Jonsson avoids the punch easily.
Jonsson moves out of range of the body kick.
Jonsson lands a body shot.
Jonsson scores with a shot to the body.
Jenkins misses with a combination
and Jonsson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jonsson takes a swing at Jenkins's ribcage but misses.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jenkins.

Jenkins bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Roderick Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenkins misses with a hook.
A big left from Jonsson misses.
Jonsson takes a swing at Jenkins's ribcage but misses.
Jonsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jenkins moves away.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jenkins.
Jenkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jenkins slips a jab and a cross from Jonsson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Whack! Jenkins lands a heavy head kick that drops Jonsson. The ref tackles Jenkins to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Jonsson was done.
