Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nissin Miojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vyacheslav Fedotov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nissin Miojo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vyacheslav Fedotov!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedotov looks to land a left hand but Miojo moved out of range nicely.
Fedotov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Miojo checks it well.
Fedotov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Miojo slips under a jab from Fedotov.
Fedotov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Miojo.
Miojo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fedotov.
Fedotov looks to land a combination but Miojo avoids it well.
Fedotov takes a swing at Miojo's ribcage but misses.

and Miojo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fedotov's guard now.

Miojo is working Fedotov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fedotov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miojo is controlling him.

Fedotov is looking to sweep but instead, Miojo has passed into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fedotov manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Miojo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fedotov wants to sweep here but Miojo controlling him for the moment.
Miojo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fedotov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fedotov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miojo was well out of range. Poor timing from Fedotov.

Miojo drops back looking for a leg! Fedotov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fedotov manages to kick Miojo off! Miojo jumps back into Fedotov's guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Miojo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fedotov to the ground. Miojo is now in Fedotov's guard.
Fedotov is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Fedotov wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Miojo manages to pass to side control.
Fedotov is looking to control Miojo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fedotov avoid being mounted?
Fedotov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Miojo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Miojo's back!

Fedotov has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Miojo has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Fedotov is trying to stick to Miojo's back but Miojo is turning into Fedotov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fedotov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Miojo.

Fedotov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fedotov is trying to control. Miojo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Fedotov working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Miojo's thigh. Miojo counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Fedotov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Miojo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fedotov.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fedotov is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nissin Miojo will probably get the nod.
That's time! Miojo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Miojo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fedotov.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fedotov. Miojo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fedotov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miojo.

Miojo feints and as Fedotov raises his hands in defense, Miojo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Miojo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fedotov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miojo defends it easily.

Miojo is keen to just control but Fedotov is a slippery customer.

Miojo cracks Fedotov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nissin Miojo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miojo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
