Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenov shoots in and bounces Guise off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Guise wants to stand but Semenov is controlling the position.
Guise is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Guise might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jacques Guise just wasn't active enough.
Guise rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Semenov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Guise misses with a wild combination.
Semenov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Semenov is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guise is trying to escape the mount but Semenov keeps good control and instead manages to take Guise's back.
Semenov lands shots from the back.
What can Guise do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Semenov thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Guise has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Semenov is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Guise is defending well though. Semenov let's go of the attempt for now.

Semenov is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Guise defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Semenov really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Guise.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Guise is trying to defend against the choke here but Semenov has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Semenov Tightens the hold and Guise taps out furiously! Semenov displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
