Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jessey Cochran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Browning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Browning shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Browning is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cochran doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Browning.

Cochran tries to roll over but Browning keeps him under control.
Browning looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

John Browning has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Browning scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cochran is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Still in half guard, Browning seems content to control.

Browning is working for a submission of some sort.

Browning wants to work for an arm triangle but Cochran is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Browning seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Cochran regains full guard. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cochran can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Browning controls the pace.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Browning wasn't active enough on the ground.

Browning scores with a takedown into Cochran's guard.

Cochran is working an open guard so Browning takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Cochran stuffs the takedown.
Browning fails with a takedown attempt.
Browning looks gassed!
Browning closes the distance and clinches up with Cochran, looking for a takedown. Browning pushes Cochran against the cage but Cochran circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jessey Cochran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Browning.

Browning takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Browning shoots and misses
and Cochran counters with a series of strikes. Browning will be more careful next time no doubt.

Cochran lands with a nice combination. Browning backs away looking to recover.
Cochran lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Browning circles away quickly and effectively.
Cochran shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Browning sprawls well. Browning wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cochran gets slowly back to his feet.
Cochran is looking to clinch but Browning is avoiding it.
Cochran stalks Browning and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Browning's face. Browning staggers backwards, shaken.

Browning is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cochran circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Browning to the canvas! Browning doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cochran keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
