And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroon walks into a stiff left hand from Fugelsang.
Fugelsang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fugelsang's corner calls for a 1-2. Fugelsang obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fugelsang lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fugelsang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kroon but Kroon pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Mike Kroon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christer Fugelsang.

Kroon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fugelsang's guard.

Fugelsang isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kroon stacks Fugelsang on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kroon!

Fugelsang tries to improve position but can't.

Kroon scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Fugelsang is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kroon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kroon loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Fugelsang scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kroon land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kroon stands and salutes the crowd.
