Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Condit moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mitchell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Condit counters with a shoot takedown. Mitchell fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Condit wants to control from the top but Mitchell keeps moving.
Mitchell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mitchell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Condit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Condit manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mitchell is working an open guard so Condit takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mitchell wants to clinch up but Condit keeps it at a distance.
Condit clinches up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Condit escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Condit slaps away a takedown attempt from Mitchell , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mitchell gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Condit counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willison Mitchell . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Condit scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Condit is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Condit working the head and body with strikes.
Condit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mitchell . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Condit shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Condit is posturing up here but Mitchell has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Condit tries to roll out but it's too tight and Condit has to tap! Slick submission there by Mitchell !
